Good night from Flamingo
We made it to Flamingo. After a drive down the west coast and nearly 100 roadside alligator sightings, we've set-up camp, had some burgers and dogs and called it a night. We're all tired but the 75 degree weather really lifted our spirits. Tomorrow it's a ranger led bike trip and some afternoon time to relax. Goodnight.

Wow. 75 degrees. Amazing.
ReplyDelete100 alligators. Scary!!!!
Thanks for the great update!!!!!
How was the day? What did you learn about on the bike tour? Did you encounter any invasive pythons? What kind of homework are you doing down there?
ReplyDeleteSeems like an awesome itinerary. Any chance of you guys doing any freshwater or saltwater fishing, while your down there. What's the chance of taking two students from YBEC east shore on this trip next winter? This would be a great incentive for maintaining level III behavior.
ReplyDeleteThe fishing down here is amazing. There were fish jumping all around us. I think some of them may have been flying fish!
ReplyDeleteNo pythons but we did catch a corn snake and a snapping turtle. The guys wanted to keep the snake as mascot. I think the chickens are enough
